Roseburg area OH (AMOS) Support group

Would anyone be interested in participating in an OH sponsored support group in the Roseburg area? I have not attended any group meetings in this area (not sure there is one) but my husband and I are interested in joining one. OH is starting local support groups in February. I thought that if there are others in this area that are faithful contributers - or lurkers - on OH we shoud have a local OH support group. OH will provide us with our own message board and other materials to keep us interested and current. Post op, pre-op, thinking about it, dosen't matter! I think we all need to be able to meet face to face with others that are currently or pondering going on this journey that is WLS. We could share information on what works for us, swap WLS friendly recipies and menus, have a clothing exchange, plan fun activities like hiking or picnics(family friendly and adult only), and just be there to support one another through this process. (I am jealous of others that have regular get togethers with people that they meet on the OH message boards! LOL ) Monica has contacted me with the information needed to get started, I just need to know that there is enough interest to get one started. Please let me know if we can make this happen! That is what I'm trying to do in the Eugene area. I'm not getting much of a response but I hope it will pan out. I have already been in contact with OH and am on there list to train in Feb. My suggestion would be to print off the Oregon members list and email all of those on the list in your area. I have included all of the towns with in a 45 mile radius of Eugene for my emails.
