How many drunks....

...does it take to give me a lingering pain in the neck??? 13 That's how many drunks I processed last night at work. You have to then ask yourself: What kind of special moron does it take to go out on New Year's Eve and drink and drive? And then, what kind of exceptional moron does it take to not realize that pretty much every law enforcement agency has extra patrols on duty specifically targeting drunks, and that your chances of getting caught increases exponentially? And yet they still keep doing it. Over and over and over. I just thank God that I had no fatalities last night. Can't speak for the whole state, but my areas were clear of that while I was there... A great reminder as to why we stayed home this year! I'm glad there weren't any fatalities. And, sadly, the fatalaties don't seem to be the drunk drivers very often....usually an innocent. The drunks are too out of it to tense up for the crash, so they "go with the flow". The people who are alert and coherent are the ones get hurt most because they try to prepare if they see it coming.
