** New Support Group**

I have got enough interest and emails to now start the new group. As I've stated before I have done the training with the Obesity Help instructor and have lots to share. It will be a learning experience for all. We will have a topic and a free discussion and samples of items to try. The first meeting is January 25th at 7:00pm. I will have the first meeting at my home, until there isn't enough room. I live in Oregon city and can email you directions upon your request and RSVP. I hope to see you all there. Surgery type does not matter, nor does length of time since surgery, haven't had surgery and just have questions thats fine too. for those that would like to do something on a saturday we can arrange for the 29th at 10:00am. when responding please let me know which one you would like to attend. thankyou so much and I can not wait to meet you all!!! I am curious how did you get trained to do this .I live in Crescent City California and there is no group so I realy want to get one started here ,there are alot of people here that have had WLS and have stated that they would like a support group.So any info would help you can email me. Joy

OH Becky! How great that you are sponsoring a new support group. My lap band is sceduled for late Jan. We are moving to Oregon--but not quite sure where--this spring. I'll keep up with Oregon stuff --as I am sure many others do--by this Board. Thank you for doing something pretty wonderful. Hope you have a great 2005

Becky, I'm interested in the support group. I just moved to Tualatin, Oregon and I've been looking for a group. I'm scheduled for RNY next Monday January 3rd. Kathy
