Plastic surgeons in Portland?

Hi all, I'm 13 months post op, down almost 150 pounds and my excess skin is INCREDIBLE! I'm just starting to think about reconstructive surgery and am wondering if anyone has any experience with plastic surgeons in the Portland area? Any info would be appreciated! Amy

Hello Amy, Congrats on losing the 150! I'm down 70+ so far and already researching PS's. Many people in my support group in Beaverton go to Dr. Fabio in Brazil. http://www.mednetbrazil.com/ They've even got pricing packages listed for next year. Everyone I know has been extremely happy with his work and his staff, so you might want to check it out if you're self-pay. I won't be going for at least 6 more months...but I'll looking for a travel buddy then! It helps defray the lodging costs if you go with someone else having surgery...and you get to share the experience with someone else. Good luck! Michele

Michele - If I find enough moola to go, I might be interested in being your travel buddy! I dunno if I'd be ready in 6 months though. Depends on a lot of factors.
