Today I felt like a brick wall fell on me...I may have to cancel my surgery. We were doing a home equity loan to pay for my surgery and pay off debt...well this morning, our loan officer called us and told that they won't be able to the loan now cuz we have a manufactured home not a stick built. They never asked us if did or not thru tho whole process til it came down to the wire..They discovered this after the appraisor did a drive by. I am so upset...I don't know what to do now. I've been trying to figure out ways to do this all day. I'm in tears I know the Wish Center does financing...does anyone know the total costs of the surgery there? Has anyone done financing thru them? If you do do fiancing thru them, how long does it take to get a surgery date? Is there any other doctors in Washington or Oregon that does in house financing? Thanks so much! Joanie

Joanie - I am not familiar with any of the above info regarding the Wish center. I do know there are certain companies out there that finance for this surgery, but I'm not sure what they are called. If you are interested in hearing about going to Mexico for a lot less, let me know. Dr. Aguirre charges $8500 but apparently it goes up to $9400 after the first of the year. Lots of satisfied patients here to cull info from. Dina

Joanie, I am sorry, I don't have any good answers for you! You do have my sympathy though. I hope that saying comes true for you - "when one door closes, another opens". I am sure you are frustrated beyond, and it is hard to have faith, but I know that with your determination, it can happen. Do read Dina's profile on Encinada. It could be a more affordable solution? Good luck to you! Patty

Hi Joanie, I can totally relate. we have been trying to refinance and they wont touch us becouse we are a manufactured home and on tribal trust land. I started out at the Wish center. Went to oreantaion with them in Yakima. they have a great record but I dont think they have been in busness that long. The cost is 15 to 20 thousand. They do move you right along and surary is within 3 months most times with no hitchs. My insurance would be out of network for them becouse Portland is local Insurance will pay. Soooo that made up my mind. Portland it is!! Good luck!!

Joanie, I happen to be a mortgage broker and I am going to do some homework and research for you this week. If there is a way to get a home equity loan, or cash-out refi on your property, I will find a way. If we are able to, I will do your loan at no cost to you, or you can choose a mortgage broker you are comfortable with and I will share the info I find out. Feel free to email me anytime if you have any questions. If there is a way to do it.....I'll find out how! Keep your chin up!! -Mary P
