Good luck on your meetings! I had my one on one meetings in May and am scheduled for surgery Oct. 18. It is a long haul! I possibly could have had surgery in Sept. but the surgeon is on vacation that month. Anything else you can email me!

It all depends on how you are and have been doing. They want to make sure that you are currently losing weight and won't go back to habbits that got us to where we were. Some people have taken up to about two years, most it's just a few months. I took about 6-9 months from that point...I don't really remember. Good luck on your progress!

Hi Brian, I had my initial meeting with them about 2 months before my actual surgery. I had to go back and see them again in a group setting. Since I was still loosing weight and following their rules, they advanced me in the program. Since I wanted Dr Moiel, I waited about 2 weeks later then if I went with any surgeon.
