Lots of size 4-5x clothing
Hi Everyone!
I am in the process of cleaning out all my old clothes and I have lots of them that need new homes. They are mostly dark bottoms and white/light tops. I have put some items on the clothing exhange here, but got burned on shipping.
I would like to send them to someone local (OR/WA/N. CA). If anyone is interested, let me know! Or off to Goodwill I go!
Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the last days of summer!!
Sarah
Hi sarah sweetie,
how ya doing girl!!
if you can't find anyone here who needs these clothes can I ask you to please check out www freecycle.com and give them a try before going to goodwill?
I know that goodwill does ALOT of good for people and I am not *trying* to down them at all.. but if you shop in thrift stores you will understand what I am complaining about.. goodwill acts as if they have become a department store or something.. the people who shop in these 2nd hand stores do so mostly becuase they can't afford the high end prices.. and or in my case it started out with dropping large amounts of weight and not being able to afford to keep my self in clothing.. now it's just the norm for me to go in and see what they got..
my daughter just got a job at value villiage.. WHOO HOO DISCOUNT.. LOL
back to freecycle.. there are many people who are on welfare/SSS that need these clothes.. I am always seeing ladies posting that are looking for plus sizes..
it's free.. you post what you want to get rid of and people post what they are looking for.. you don't need to be low income to participate.. it's just another way to get/get rid of your no longer wanted/needed items..
I got a wheelchair for my biz and a waterbed for my daughter on this web sight.. I have also given away a car that I couldn't afford to fix..
please check it out.. and someone will come to your house or biz to pick up what they want.. you don't even have to meet them.. just tell them your leaving it on the front pourch or, or, or...
take care
Theresa
