O.T. = checking out Portland??

Hi Everyone Husband has a job interview next week for a company in Beaverton. If it goes well we will be checking out realtors and looking for a home. Anyone have a favorite real estate agent who is honest and trustworthy?? We would love to find a place on some acreage so that we can also have my 81 yr old father live nearby. Would love some info from the locals as to which areas are better than others? I've never been to Portland so don't know anything about the area.
