Update on Renee W from her Angel

I just got off the phone with her. She is still in ICU, not sure when she will get out and moved to a regular room, She's hoping for today. She said they have got her up to a chair twice, but will only let her have ice. She would love to be able to just drink some sips of water. She is very grateful for all the prayers and thoughts we have sent up for her, and told me to give all of you her love and Hugs. I will be calling her again this evening and will post again.

I can relate to what she is going through with no water.. I didn't ge****er (nothing by mouth) for 5 days.. I was MISERABLE.. then after it was very limited and VERY slow.. (hospital stay was 6 days) when they did my leak test the day after surg. my stoma was swollen.. was the reason.. when you talk to her next tell her that we are all waiting to see her back on the boards soon!! I made my way up there and she was very tired but doing well. Still in ICU at that time--about noon--surely she's moved by now. Pam
