I'm Stuck!
Hi Everyone!
Okay okay....I'm 10 months out and stuck at a loss of 98 lbs. I have been here for days. I just want to get to that 100 mark! I know I am slower than a lot of you people...but I feel great, my skin isn't sagging and I haven't lost any hair! I have been working out at he gym 3 -4 days a week....so...does anyone have any suggestions??
And when are we getting together again at Stanley's or any place else for that matter?
Take care,
Shelley
I'm a slow loser too Shelley. I suspect it will take me until 10 months to see 100 lbs also. I stall out for long periods of time. Although I finally got to 69 lbs lost today, I still have over 100 to go.
The only thing I'm going to try is staying pretty consistent with Atkins if I can. I will see if cutting out the fruit and stuff helps. Going to do my best to keep my carbs below 30 and see what happens. Good luck!

Hi shelley,
wish I could help sweety..
for "me" you know my bad habits.. but I have finnaly broke that dam platueGainLOOSE thing I was on that lasted 7 dam MONTHS... of course this is a PMS week so the scale said I added 3 lbs.. but I am going to over look that and start looking again next week..
I am now down to 146 and still plugging along.. that makes it 110 lbs for me. with only 11 to go to my goal.. I will be 16 months out on the 16th..
give me a call...
Theresa
Hi Shelley,
I'm 3 years out and farther from my goal than I was a year ago. I only lost 65 pounds, then gained back 30. I've been stuck there every since. I don't think I'll ever see 50 pounds again- Let alone 100, but I sure would like to!
I'm not recommending it but when I was sticking to my diet and would hit a plateau, I would fast for a day to kick start it (it takes 40 hours for your body to start entering 'starvation' mode, so it's safe to fast for one day)
It could be that you are working out and gaining muscle while you lose fat, so it looks like you aren't losing when you are.
Teresa and I are getting together on Friday for singing or dancing! Something active. No sitting around eating! You (or anyone) are welcome to join us.
