Dr. Deron Ludwig????

Hi All, I'm am 3 days pre-op and Dr. Ludwig is my surgeon. He is fairly new to Mississippi and came from Oregon. A friend mentioned if I had researched his track record in Oregon, and of course I had not. Has anyone heard of him? If so what is his track record? Thanks for any information anyone can give. A google search says that he is a reviewer for an oncology (cancer) journal, that he trained at Loma Linda University in California (from an announcement of his him joining a bariatric practice) and that he is serving in the Air Force in Mississippi. No mention of Oregon. Maybe "from Oregon" means that he was raised here or was stationed here? tee
