Can anyone help me find out...

Helllpppp. I'm somewhat computer retarded. Can anyone give me any ideas how to find out about financial aide using this site. Or any other suggestions? My insurance won't cover the surgery and I'm looking for help. Thanks for any help

Jody - I'm not sure of the name of the companies but I know there are loans you can get for medical procedures. Not sure if they would be better than getting a traditional loan or using a credit card though. I was a self-pay...went to Mexico and paid $8500. It was very much worth it. I had to self pay at the last minute. My WLS was 3 weeks ago. I told hardship from my 401k plan, and then took a loan on line. We were approved for $10,000, I thought it would be more, because our credit is really good. We had to pay 60% down to the hospital and 1/2 down to the surgeon. ($11,400 & $3,000) There are other countries that you can consider, also who charge anywhere from $6,000 to 12,000. That info is also on this site.
