Friend had surgery needs help Please

My friend just has surgery open RNY Wednesday.. she came home yesterday and is having trouble not passing gas she is burping but that is not enough and her doctor.. says that is not good.. BUT is not offering any advice.. all he said was to take Ducolax.. she took that in the Hospital twice and it did not help.. she is trying it again.. she feels terrible.. and it may be true that she came home from the Hospital to early.. her Doctor is not being supportive... at all .. and in fact is lately in the habit of yelling at his patients.. Please help with any suggestions to help her pass gas to she can get rid of the bloated terrible about to blow up feeling

Hi Renee, My Dr. and his staff said walk, walk, walk...that it helps with passing the gas. And I WALKED, I did laps around my house when I came home, and it does help.....even now. It doesn't sound like much advise, I hope it helps your friend. And yelling?? whats up with that, like that's going to help. who is her doc.? ~*Lauryn*~

who's her doc? I haven't had surgery yet and I want to make sure I don't get Old Yeller! Pam

well as long as you don't come to the city I live in or the city that is part of the City I live in you should be alright there are some good Doctors in Portland though. that are not yellers
