hey girly! I really DO want to make this work!! I was a dummy yesterday (tech dummy, that is) I didn't think my posts were posting because I couldn't see them on the board. I was on my computer at work and it makes me sign in to the AMOS site everytime I want to post...and then it gave me error messages. I just didn't think my little blurbs were getting through....so I didn't check my aol email...until way later that night. Anyway.....next weekend I will be camping...and the weekend after I'll be busy as well.....but I can do a thursday night next week. ? Anyway.....let's keep trying! I know I'd REALLY love it!! My support group weirds me out a little, so it would be nice to hang with everyone in a more casual, less structured setting!! Keep trying!! And thanks for the inspiration! -Mary P

when I went to my support group here where I live a bunch of the ladies seemed really clicky. which seemed really strange considering their ages.. I would expect that sor tof behavior out of teenagers.. I tried to talk to them.. but they did not want to talk.. (sigh) but I did connect with 2 really nice people.. Ginger and Merry.. that made up for the clicky people

Theresa, I'd still love to go out. I have the kids this weekend. Mary's suggestion of a Thursday night sounds good to me. Much easier on my schedule, at least for the next week or two! What d'ya think? I know weekends are fun because you can sleep in the next morning if it was a REALLY fun night. Weeknights can be nice to just finally meet tho! Michele

Dinka, I live in Glide. It would be nice to talk to someone near. I have been told there is a support group that meets @ Mercy Hospital the last Monday of every month (this monday because of Memorial Day). I am going to try to make it to that this week. It will be the last one before my surgery.

Patrice - Nice to meet you! Looks like your date is coming up soon! Where are you going for your surgery? I know there used to be a surgeon in Roseburg but I was told he wasn't practicing anymore. And when I had called his office (this was a year or so ago) his receptionist didn't sound reassuring about it. If one could read between the lines it was "no, he's not going to be doing these surgeries ever again..." kind of impression I got. Dina

Hi Sharon - I totally missed your post hiding way down here! Glad you checked in on the Oregon board. So when did you have your surgery w/Dr. Mirande? I met him during one of his little seminars over the winter. Thought I might have a way around insurance but I didn't so I went to Mexico. He seemed a very nice person...beautiful smile! Dina
