Lindas approved for surgery Yippy

Yippy  Got a call from  Added Choice Linda is approved for surgery, NPSusan Fee will have H the surgery coordinator get on this tommorrow.  I will be headed to sea on Sunday a slow tugboat ride to Hawaii, be back in a month to 45 days.  As Lindas number 1 support person I will be asking all you to coach me on how best to help . I have been good and have not made any pushy phone calls to OHSU for a number of weeks. I belive we are on our way to the loosing side of of life Thanks Taylor the Sailor

Congratulations on Linda's approval! Linda will be going to a surgery prep class about a month or so prior to her surgery date.  She will be getting a folder that covers everything that is discussed in class, including admission procedures, pre-op, peri-op, and post-op instructions.  Also included in that folder will be instructions for her support people. Have a safe and successful trip!

Thanks for the support, I belive we are moving forward .It was it was March of 07 when we started this , BCBS was the major hurdle a year of weight loss support with her PCP. Aloha  Taylor
