Anyone else from Eugene or surrounding area???

I'm right outside Eugene too!!  I'm in Harrisburg, but most people don't know where that is, so I just say Eugene, hehe

Hi, I live just outside of Eugene too, between JC and Eugene. I had surgery in Portland on January 29th, 2008. My insurance wouldn't cover Sacred Heart before but now that it's a Center of Excellence I will but it's too late! I had Emma Patterson who I believe to be a great surgeon. This was my best surgery so far. Every other one I've had for whatever reason something has gone wrong but not the Lap-band!  I'm new to this site and the whole surgery thing too. I'm learning new things all the time! It's nice to see how many others are in our area! Becky
