Surgery date

I had lapand surgery in Dec 07.  I took nearly four weeks off due of a job requiring that I be able to lift 30 pounds.  If it weren't for that, I could have gone back sooner.  I was tired and gassy the first week or so, then the gas pains decreased.  I suppose I could have gone back, say around two weeks....but I am older and wel all know the older you are the longer it takes to recuperate.  Best of luck and congrats on a surgery date and the arrival of your first grandchild.  Both will be huge milestones.
