XP: Tentative Surgery Date!

Around 9 this morning, I received numerous messages in my secure account from the Digestive Health Center at OHSU about my pre- and post-op appts with Dr. D. and pre-op appt with the pre-admit testing (PAT) clinic, but apparently the surgery date was left off.  I didn't have time to take a closer look at all those appts but marked them in my calendar anyway.  Then I logged off my clinic account to take a shower and get dressed.

The surgical coordinator left a message on my voice mail this morning while I was showering with a request to call her back.  However, knowing that I would get her voice mail when I called her back, I chose to return her call early this afternoon after lunch.  I tried to call her back when I got home earlier this afternoon but got her voice mail instead.  I knew it!  I didn't leave a message, knowing that she has a cr@ppy record of not returning calls and losing fax receipts and other paperwork.  So I called the main clinic line in an attempt to be transferred to her, but the rep advised me that the surgical coordinator was "in a class for the rest of this afternoon".  Great!  

So I asked the rep to clarify my appts and if she could access my surgery date.  She advised me that my tentative surgery date will be on Wednesday, May 14, and that date will be discussed further in my appts with the PAT clinic and Dr. D. on Monday, April 14.

Wooohoo! That's great ...coming up quickly! congrats! Brenda

Don't we wish!!! I sure have been waiting a long time--that's for sure!  At least I got out of the jungle of those woods onto the road to the Wizard of D!  Plus, I didn't get bonked by any angry apple tree along the way. Thank you, Linda!
