Approved by my insurance-

I just got back from a two-week vacation. While I was gone I hoped that the records mess at OHSU would be straightened out and that I would have a phone message waiting for me. Well no phone message but I did get a letter of insurance approval from my insurance!!! Yay hooray!! Now on a kind of scary note! I called OHSU to see what my next step was and GUESS WHAT!! The records person didn't have any record of my approval!!! Well I have the letter stating it was copied to OHSU. She asked me to fax it to them. I faxed-goodness knows if it will be received. I do really hate to bug them but my trust factor is not very high right now.

You're dealing with the woman whom you've been having problems with again? Better fire off an e-mail to your NP about that woman's perceived organizational problems STAT! On another note, congratulations on your approval from your insurance!

Tina - congratulations on the approval.  When you get in to talk with the NP, et al, I would make a point of letting them know your dissatisfaction with H.  For goodness sakes, the woman is worse at keeping track of paperwork than I am (and that's BAD).  Hopefully, now that you've faxed it to her yourself, she can't say she doesn't have it. Great Tina  I called on Monday to see if H had found the last bit of info the NP needed to sent for insurance approval . It was in the Fax box waiting. I am not sure how long to wait before #*#^ to someone up the chain. I will bug them next week to see if the request has been sent.. Good luck

HEY GUY!!! Glad to see you back on the boards...sounds like you guys really work hard getting your surg. here. I was soooo spoiled with my program in KS I never had to deal with the C-RAP you guys do. It's just NUTS!!!! take care and give your Honey a squeeze!!! Hope to see you both soon!!!
