Almost There!

I am excited! I only need to lose eight more pounds until Dr. Patterson's office sends the paperwork into Blue Cross. My insurance required this weight loss, which I don't understand. Because if I could do it on my own without wls I would have long ago. I am hoping to have my surgery in June after school lets out. Then I will have the summer to recoup before getting in my bus for another school year. Better yet, I will be thinner when I do start work.

I am going to do the lap-band at this point because I am not sure if I want my innards played with like the RNY. I will be consulting with Dr. Patterson about my options. I want to make the right choice.

Lol!  Technically you'll still have your innards manipulated a little bit!  I'm sure you'll do great.  I managed to lose all of one pound in several months -- good thing it wasn't an ABSOLUTE requirement for my insurance. Although I had Dr. Jan do my fills, I've seen Dr. P. around the clinic.  You'll do fine! Lori
