It's more PS, Dr. Bohley (what a great bunch!) I called and asked who does the surgeries at Adventist and Dr. Bohley will call me back with a name. Really, though, don't wait on OHSU. If you need help, go to another ER. You deserve to be treated (and better) tee

Thanks, Tee. I may go in somewhere else tomorrow. I'm starting to run a fever now. Flu? Maybe. But that doesn't answer the swelling, pain and oozing of blood from my J tube port.

Advise from the doctor's office- Adventist has a wound care clinic, called the hyperbaric department. It is across the street from the hospital. Your fever may mean an infection. In fact, it probably IS an infection,which would explain it all perfectly. GO NOW to the ER at Adventist and have them see you before you are in more trouble. An infection can get out of control fast with an open wound that is bleeding. Septicemia is a huge risk and tomorrow is too long to wait. It could turn life threatening as you are weak to begin with. Tell them you want to be seen at the hyperbaric department, or call the department directly as ask them for advice. please, Kim, go..... tee
