Round 2 PS on Tues!!

I am nearly 3 years out from my RNY and have had one round of PS.  The first round consisted of an anchor cut TT w/ BL and auxilla (side boobs).  It was all good, but the upper part of the mid section couldn't be pulled in as much as it needed due to undermining of a prior scar.  It had to heal first and be redone as a revision.  So....round 2 is reverse TT (pulling in and up), Brachioplasty, mons lift and lipo on the thighs.  Yes, there IS a round 3....but then I'm DONE!  I feel like a prize fighter  Wise Guybut I'll get through this. Congrats!  You look amazing and I am sure that you will look (and feel) great when you are done.  I thought when I started this whole WLS stuff that I would be fine with my extra skin and I am with some but I HATE HATE HATE   some of it.  I can't wait to get rid of it but that a while off now. Good luck and I will keep you and your doctor in my prayers for Tuesday to have a fast and easy surgery and recovery. Keep us posted! Tara

Thank you, Tara!!  My prayers are for NO complications.  The arms are always a tricky area because of the lymph nodes located under arm. Once I'm healed with the worst of it I'll post new pics and a new avitar pic as well. Trisha

Tricia!  I was just thinking of you this morning (now don't take this wrong) as I was looking at my batwings and other things that need lifting.  I thought - I need to ask Tricia again who her doc was, as I'm gonna need to take care of this stuff.  The girls are in desperate need of some help.  I figure it will have to wait until next summer anyway, and I should have most of my weight off by then anyway.  So, I know you had someone at OHSU?  I think I'll need brachioplasty, TT, BL./BA, although I don't think I'll need much augmentation.  Right now, I just need a crane on each shoulder! LOL,  none taken, Linda!!  First let me say, that is a wonderful new picture of you!!! I am SO excited about this surgery.  I finally got a few more hours of sleep. It has only left me feeling tired now so I suppose I should go back to bed. Dr. Julianna Hansen at OHSU is my surgeon.  She does fine work!  I'll e-mail you a few more details. I don't have implants either, Linda.  I had plenty of breast tissue to work with although frankly the girls may be just a tad too much after she does the revision of my stomach. I recommend working your muscles HARD.  For me that meant a personal trainer.  They know exactly how to go about work-outs to maximize your endurance and build strength and muscle.  I now have little "gun" arms so it will be much easier for her to sculpt TO the muscle. I have to agree with Trish on the trainer thing, I have been working with a persoanl trainer for a few months now and I can belive how much difference it has made in my strength and restabIising my stabelizing muscles that I let go while I was so big. I have a great one here in gresham if anyone is interested in a few trial sessions for free

Thanks Kelly - I've been in physical therapy for the past couple of months and will continue till at least the end of the year.  I have two herniated and one ruptured disc in my lower spine, so we have really been working on strengthening my stomach muscles.  My poor body is a mess. Linda

Trisha, good luck with your surgery! If you are going to be there overnight, we will be there on the same day.  I go in for my revision on Wednesday.  I hope everything goes smoothly for you with NO complications!  Can't wait to see you again after you are all healed.
