Consultation Appointment

What type of paperwork problem was ?  I am with BCBS also,and want to make sure everything is in order................. I am assuming that we probably have similar requirements. I am going thru some place in Ohio, to get the final authorization.  Anthem Nation Accounts.....do you use them also?   Thanks,

I talked with Regence in Portland; I'm not sure about Ohio; I just assumed it was there. I will ask tomorrow as you know I will be calling!!!!    As far as the paperwork, it's been a glitch behind my first weigh in. I had cleared it with Legacy that I could start the 5% with my regular Dr. weigh in because my first appt. was a month out. So..........Legacy and Regence missed that in the paperwork, so it looked like my initial weigh in was in July and I had already lost the 5% by then. I talked with Legacy, they went back through the paper and found it, then sent my paperwork to Regence, who denied based on the same thing. So, I have a call into Legacy to contact the approval dept. and help clear up the mix up. Meanwhile, I am going crazy............So, it seems to be a total fluke and nothing that you need to worry about. I will keep you posted!!!  Martha
