I got to come home from the hospital today. With the blockage in my stomach that is what really made me sick. They kept having me try to do the leak test and it would hurt trying to drink stuff and it wouldnt go down. Then the pain stayed and got worst. Then I started vomiting. That was what made me feel better. Then a complication with my IV accored. I caught it in time though because the machine didnt. the machine would of kept pumping that stuff in me. When I saw there was a problem my arm and hand was hugh. they had to cut everything off. Then the had to do a pike IV which is a long IV that goes up a main artery and to my heart. That day all this happen I went with pain medication and IV s. I was out like a light when everything was over and I was in the safe zone again. So then all day yesterday all I did was keep improving that the doctor came to me last night and said I could go home in the moring. I did pass the leak test but of course the blockage was what made me sick. He is it was a blood clock in the stiches from the stomach to the intestents. The only way to fix it was to drink lots of water and make it pass but of course when it has no where to go it HURTS. I am glad to be home now. I am drinking lots of water and trying new things like broth and sugar free jello. I can get around and clean house for a little while but lose the energy fast. I beleave at this point things are going to get better fast.

Hi Katrina, I was thinking about you often today, wondering how you were doing and if you were going to get to come home today. So glad you are feeling better and that you got to come home. Be careful not to over-do it with the cleaning house and stuff. You still need to rest. Again, glad you made it home okay. Take care.

Glad your home and feeling better. No more house cleaning for a few days....just rest and gaze at the lights on your tree. It was hard for me to let my family do that stuff, but I think they felt good helping out. I am really glad your complications resolved. Don't forget the sugar free popsicles. I am really glad you are feeling better. Patty
