Darn I missed it!

Sorry I must have missed lunch on Monday. I warned that I might be unable to come, and that is how it ended up. We had planned to redo our hardwood floors this past weekend. Despite my daughter getting out of hospital on Friday, we decided to still do it. There was a lot of planning involved (dogs boarded, guys coming, etc.) and it seemed like we could make it work. From my daughter's standpoint, a comfy bed and room service wasn't anything but an improvement, and being away from pets, friends and such was not too bad for enforcing rest. From my standpoint however.......AHHHHHH! Moved everything out to the garage, fridge on the back porch, piano on the front porch. It brings with it all kinds of "well we might as well paint this, clean that, sort through this, etc." Nothing is back to normal yet, and this is the first time I even looked at the computer. Sorry to have missed you guys. Next time! Things went fine regarding my daughter. She is recovering and should get back to school next week. We don't have a clear answer as to when/if this will resolve any time soon, but we are getting very good care and advice. Patty

First of all, I am soooo happy to hear that your daughter is getting better. Beyond that, I totally understand the home renovation. It can be time consuming and, sometimes, chaotic! I missed it too! I haven't been looking at the messageboard much lately, but I'm trying to get back to it. I'm glad to hear your daughter is recoving nicely.
