Thank you Dawn!!! I am going on 10 years and struggling with regain. Yes it is all me, and trying to get back on track is hard especially with all my food restrictions.
Thanks for the encouragement

16. Excision of excess fatty tissue and/or skin a. Panniculectomy is only insured in the following cir****tances and when prior authorization of payment is obtained from the MOHLTC: i. where there is significant associated symptomatology related to the pannus; ii. where the pannus extends to a level below the pubis symphysis; and iii. where the patient's weight has been stable for a minimum of 6 months when panniculectomy is requested in relation to weight loss. b. Excision of excess fatty tissue and/or skin other than for panniculectomy is not an insured service. [Commentary: Examples of significant clinical symptomatology include significant pain, chronic skin breakdown, and recurrent cellulitis and/or ulcers.] Hello, above is the Ohip criteria for panniculectomy in Ontario. I used a plastic surgeon in the GTA and he is very good at getting you as much coverage as possible, most people do the upgrade and his prices are very reasonable. www.elahiplasticsurgery.com there is also a Ontario, Canada plastic surgery fb group with alot of info. Good Luck
Hi All,
I am from Sheena's Place (sheenasplace.org); we are an eating disorder agency that has put together a free online group for bariatric clients (pre- or post-surgery) who would like to deal with big emotions that may be leading to eating disorders / disordered eating (binge eating, emotional eating, grazing, night eating etc.) The group pulls from DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy), CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy), and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). It is a 10 week, interactive, confidential and a closed group (so new members cannot join once the group has started). It runs Fridays 1-2:30 starting Sept. 18. Please see the attached flyer for registration info. Hope to see you soon!
Hello all! I have my trios appointment coming up next week. Very excited but also nervous to fail and be delayed! Still waiting on my internist appointment. Do we really have to just wait for them to call with the appointment? I called the internist office directly and they said they dont book the appointments, someone will call. I like having all my ducks in a row so waiting on the phone call is nerve wracking
