You got this one - well done... take it slow and everything will realign itself and start working again.
If anyone knows a way to get on optifast program without having to buy from US, let me know please
I went back to work after 3 weeks.
The first while I did short walks, watched TV and spent a ton of time just working at getting all my meds, vitamins and fluids in - along with the protein shakes.
I had visitors that helped pass the time. I did some cooking and meal prep for later stages. I read. I went to a couple of movies.
By week 2 I was taking my dogs for walks in the conservation area. I hung out at Indigo, went shopping, went to a support group meeting.
I tried to keep busy, and active while still taking the time to rest.

I hear a lot of people supplement with biotin. Some take as much as 10,000 mg per day.
As for the pomegranates, how far out are you? I never had a problem with nuts or seeds but some do. You won't know until you try....let us know how it goes.

Today I'm going to school... I can't believe I'm saying that lol. I'm still on leave but I'm going to see some friends and my advisor. It's going to be a long day for us but it will be nice to catch up with everyone.
Post-op three years and nine months.
Breakfast - Greek yogurt and waaaay too many blueberries -- does anyone else ever misjudge how much is left in a package? I thought there was only about a serving left. Apparently there was quite a bit more but it was already in my bowl.
Snack - protein bar
Lunch - tbd restaurant
Snack - nut mix
Dinner - leftover beef roast -- it turned out so awesome. Fall off the bone meat and sweet carrots.
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
You're not really eating at this point. You are drinking. The protein drinks are critical.
You need to get a minimum of 64 oz of fluids into you each and every day. If you aren't hydrating enough you will get sick. Call the Clinic if you are struggling.
I would start in the morning with a glass of water and get your meds in. Then go to your protein drink. Sip it as long as you need to. Then go back to your water or other fluids. Late afternoon another protein drink. Keep on sipping.
You should should be sipping something all day long.
If you can squeeze in a bit of greek yogurt or skyr - great. A glass of milk will work too. Get the Fairlife milk. It has less sugar and more protein than regular milk. Walmart carries it as well as Fortinos.
I would also start some restoralax or colace now to get your bowels moving because that's going to be the next issue. Smooth Move Tea (Loblaws/Fortinos/Walmart) is good as well. Kill two birds with one stone.
Once you get that down, try one thing. Have some strained soup. If that's all good, then maybe go back to some cream of wheat or yogurt. This is all trial and error. Add stuff back in, one thing at a time, but keep on drinking and taking in the protein drinks.
And as if that isn't enough make sure you are getting all meds and vitamins in. Oh yeah...keep on walking. The gas should be gone in a day or two.
