My surgery is scheduled January 8th and I have my last appointment on Thursday. Is anyone else terrified? I'm not afraid of complications, just that I haven't done enough or I'm not ready. I've never been overly confident about my willpower, I'm just worried that I'll fail. Is that normal?
Thank you. I am ready and so excited. The timing couldn't be better as ihave family coming from out of town, and I can really enjoy the holidays with them.
Thanks, so do I. Pillows sounds like a good idea. Who new the fat cushion that is leaving was providing comfort!

Not sure. I came through the Wharton Clinic and after bloodwork I was sent for the abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy and colonoscopy. Then it was the sleep study.

I recently just flew back and forth to Vancouver and complained about the uncomfortable seats in Business Class. I was shocked they could be so bad until I realized it was my boney bum that was causing the trouble and not the seats. :)

Hi everyone, I am having my rny surgery January 16th. I am getting 3 small cavities filled on January 8th and a crown prep. on January 14th and the crown on January 15th. Will dental work be a problem before surgery?
Congratulations,
You were 6 weeks before me but I know I won't be hitting my personal goal anytime soon, I'm hoping to hit my realistic goal still another 25 to go by my 1 year appointment in March (well there's still hope). Healthwise I'm a lot better and am still hoping to find a way to add more exercise to my life. A major NSV last week was getting a cold and for the first time in probably 20 years and it didn't develop into Bronchitis or Pneumonia, needless to say my asthma is much better.
For anyone out there wondering the health changes make it so worth it.....
And it's funny still did all my Christmas baking this year (48 dozen cookies and 5 batches of squares) I do baking for me, my Mom and to give as gifts, and I haven't even bothered testing most of it, figure I've been doing it for enough years I know what I'm doing, and I don't miss it. I'm still forgetting to eat when I get busy sometimes, but I try to remind myself as not eating at all isn't good.
I do still miss diet pop sometimes, so I bought mini can's of diet pepsi and diet ginger ale a couple of months ago, still have half left, but knowing it's there if I time it right helps with the mental craving.
Hope you have a great Christmas.

Not necessarily, I had lots of issues but in my case my last sleep study was still new enough, (I still use a CPAP machine), I'd had a colonoscopy schedule the year before, and no one wanted an endoscopy. Tests seem to vary by which centre you go through.
