Hi Shiney

Congrats on your up coming surgery! It's great to have a surgery twin. :-)

Like yourself, I've been a big protein shake drinker too, so I'm not minding the opti at all.

I'd love to keep in touch during our journeys. I think that's a fantastic idea.

Where are you having your surgery?

Hi Angie,

So funny, you and I both have the same timeline! I also started opti yesterday and am scheduled for surgery on the 15th as well.

Opti has been fine so far, I don't mind the taste. I have been a big protein shake drinker over the years, so I feel that I'm quite use to the synthetic taste of these types of shakes.

All the best for the surgery. Also, if you're up for it, I would love to keep in touch over the course of our journeys.

Good morning and happy new year!!

I can't decide if I want to go to Walmart today... We are trying a spending freeze-ish for January and if I really think about it I don't need what I want to get there.

Ginnny, I'm jealous of your hair appointment... I could just go for the shampoo and scalp massage lol. That's my favourite part.

Post-op three years and nine months.

Breakfast 1 - melba and PB

Breakfast 2 - protein shake

Snack - Greek yogurt and banana

Lunch - chicken and rice

Snack - pepperette and cheese

Dinner - cabbage and sausage

Snack - pudding, mixed nuts

All water and vits.

Happy New Year Gang, is everybody ready to get back on the horse and do up 2019 fabulously? I am. Went to the gym this morning even though my morning didn't start great. I got a new phone in early December and I realized over the holidays it was syncing with my Garmin Index Scale. I did some investigation this morning but will have to get it figured out tonight. I like to see the trends.

Hair appointment tonight and I'm thinking of really changing it up. New year, new look!! We'll see, will let you know tomorrow if I went through with it. My hair isn't super long right now anyway, but it is curly so we'll see if their is anything she can do with it. My some bold color!

Post Op 2 yrs 8+ mos

B - 1/2 everything bagel, 1 egg, 1 slice cheese

S - chicken breast

L - spring mix salad with chicken breast

S - deli turkey, cucumbers

D - bunless cheeseburger.

Have a wonderful day today!!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Thank you! Three opti shakes in and I would have to agree. They're not bad at all. I didn't know what to expect after reading in a couple of FB groups how some people really disliked them, especially the vanilla. That was the first one I tried this morning and actually liked it. Ah well.. everyone has different tastes :-)

Happy New Year!
