I got the results from my sleep study that my family doctor referred me for. Turns out I have moderate sleep apnea and require a CPAP.
Does anyone know what the cost of these machines end up being after OHIP coverage?
I'm so glad I did this test early, so it didn't hold me back later in the process!

Volume is going to matter greatly moving forward so may as well get used to it. You are lucky you are allowed some veggies as most are allowed none. I would start following the rules now as it will just set you up to keep doing it when it truly matters even more.
You know docs make money when they are doing surgeries? And getting a new patient to visit. It is called business. Most good surgeons - good ones - would advise conservative approach, and avoiding surgery if that is possible. Not all docs are like that IMO.

I agree with some of the things said here. However if the surgeon feels this is your best option then I say go for it! Good luck!

What happens if you eat more than the recommended volume of permitted vegetables? Since they are basically calorie-free and I'm just eating raw vegetables, does volume really matter?
I'm trying to figure out how diligently I have to measure them.
TIA.
Dr. Hagen is amazing. Very experienced. You are very lucky :) I wish I had him. I had Dr. Huynh. He was okay.

Happy Friday everyone!
This seemed like a long week so I'm glad it's coming to an end. COLD COLD outside today but thankfully the roads are clear. Tonight my best friend and I planned to head up to Sarnia to try out luck at the Point Edward Casino and have dinner to celebrate my birthday but it will all depend on what the weather does!
B - 1/2 protein shake, 1 boiled egg
S - greek yogurt

Enjoy the weekend all!

Thanks Ginny.
VERY relieved to know eventually it will grow back!
I just kept it pretty basic and dyed so I don't have any grey roots. I do have some condition from the salon that I've been using and am going to try one of those deep conditioning treatments that you leave on for a bit.
I appreciate the advice ;)
