Hey debbie reading this book so strenghened my commitment of having the surgery how are you enjoying it? I just hope the 18th of march comes quick thats when I have my sleep apnea test and I have letters comming from my orthopedic surgeon and another surgeon wrote on my behalf stating that it is a good choice i have taken to want to have this surgery and that i should be approved. Hi Dannette: I have to agree that it is a great book. It has also strengthened my decision to have WLS too. I am pre-op also and it has given me so much info. Debbie H

Hi Dannette: I got mine through the internet too; excellent decision if I may say so myself! I am getting surgery with Dr Starr in Toronto. I had my consultation in November and see the internist, dietician and social worker on March 9th. I don't have a date yet but am hoping I get one after I see the three amigos! (I mean internist, dietician and social worker!) Do you have a surgeon picked out yet? I seem to remember that you are planning on having your surgery in the states; is that correct? Take care and I'll talk to you again soon! Debbie H
