Surgery date

I'm new to the forum ?

I have a question. So I've been through all the appointments dr glazer gave me the thumbs up and told me I've been approved for RNY and I should call Humber river the next day regarding the next step. So I call and they told me they would call in two weeks and if I don't hear from them to call back and find out what's going on. So I called back two weeks later and I am transferred to somebody named Sarah apparently who is one of the nurses there. Sara then tells me they send out Bulk email to the surgeons and I should wait to hear from the surgeon so this is now a month since Dr. Glaser Appointment I still have not heard anything. So should I call my surgeon or what do I do is this a normal wait time before I hear from the surgeon? I'm very anxious to find out what my Surgery date will be. How long has everybody else waited should I call my surgeon?

Call. Stay on top of it and keep them on their toes.

This is a process where you really need to advocate for yourself. I don't know how many times I've heard about lost paperwork blah blah blah.

Thanks for the reply I ended up calling my surgeon and I got my next appointment. Your so right about calling them there kind of disorganized there ð??'
