Anyone recommend frozen meal product?
You are only a month post-op, and I was trying to remember what I ate at that time. I know that I could buy one of those big turkey meatballs that they sell at the hot foods counter in the grocery store, and that would last me for 4 meals. I think I used to buy frozen chicken meatballs and have 2 of them with a little gravy and a spoonful of mashed cauliflower (Green Giant frozen).

Frozen chicken meatballs sound like a good idea - thanks, I will look for those. I just bought frozen cauliflower "rice" so that might be interesting to try working with too. Really still focusing on protein and getting off the protein shakes, but a little something on the side or under the protein looks better.

Can you just meal prep your own food and freeze meal size portions for yourself? That way you can control all the ingredients that go into the dishes. I have several small tupperware/rubbermaid containers and just freeze my leftovers in portion size for myself, and then larger containers for my husband. Even at over 2-1/2 years out I don't buy frozen boxed meals.
I've used some of the Healthy Choice Steamers. The ones with protein and veggies. One has chicken and edamame that comes in at approx. 22 grams of protein and low calorie count. I have them in the freezer at work if I get caught working late and need dinner.
