Before I forget
They can make food for you. They can do groceries, laundry, clean up. You really can't do physical stuff. No lifting or anything like that. Change your bedsheets?
I couldn't have a shower for a bit and my hair was gross. I got my sister to take me to the hairdresser just to have my hair washed and dried.
You also have a one week follow up. Someone can drive you to the appt and be with you then.
I wanted to get out and walk around. I had a friend come to the mall with me and do some walking.
There's all kinds of stuff they can help you with.
I had my surgery in January. For 3 months I couldn't shovel snow. My friends and family chipped in.
My neighbours walked my dogs.
