Protein Bars ??? What's Your Fav ???
Morning Everyone!
Have a question. I've been trying a few different protein bars but can't find ANYTHING I like at all. Last one was from Costco but can't remember the name.
Anyway....what's your fav please?

I am pre surgery but I am using a brand I found at Farm Boy grocery store on Browns Line called Think!
It is delicious but I am new to reading labels. Please let me know if it isn't as good as I think. lol
Stats per bar (I only have half at a time) - The bar I am reading off right now is lemon but I had a brownie one yesterday with the same stats - so good.
Calories 260
Fat 9g
Carbs 24g
fibre 0g
sugars 0g
protein 20g
Just read the ingredients and it looks like it is sweetened with Maltitol
I would be worried about the carbs if I was still in the losing phase or if I was a "dumper". That's somewhat high. The rest looks good. No fibre? I'm a little surprised at that.

The only ones I have found I can stand are Simply Protein. Coscto just started stocking them but before I was finding them in certain grocery stores.
They have a texture kind of rice crispie-esque so they aren't as dense as other bars. Some of the flavours are actually pretty good too.

Costco only has the 3 flavour box. But i was buying them individually (in about 10 flavours) at Lowblaws and Fortinos.

Thanks dear! That's the ones i bought and returned. I thought because they ate rice crispy style that I'd like them. I couldn't even eat a 1/2 one and was gagging. I'm still trying to get used to how much my tastes have changed after surgery. Very odd going from living certain things to gagging after surgery. Thanks for the suggestion though!!!

No worries. You just got to keep trying. Everyone's tastes are different, and as you mentioned constantly changing.
If you have any health food stores near you they usually sell a lot of types as single bars. Try a bunch of brands/flavours and take it from there.
