Question for Humber river.
See my timeline below, it really didn't take that long. I could have had surgery mid January but I put it off until March due to work. Good luck!

That depends...did you already see the internist (Dr. Glazer)? If you have not seen the internist then your file will go to Rounds and then you will see the internist.
If you have already seen the internist and have been approved by him then it will go pretty quick after that.

My appointment with dr glazer is oct 17. before my trio. So I'm hoping it will go quick.
My initial referral was in February so it feel like I've been waiting my whole life.
I know I'm in the short strokes now but not knowing when the surgery is makes it really hard to plan work and life.
I am thinking about going away for Christmas but I've got no clue if I will be post surgery/ or on optifasts diet. It sucks :((
It depends on your surgeon and his availability.
I have seen folk have surgery 1-2 months after being approved by Trio and Dr. Glazer. The difference in your situation is that once you see Doctor Glazer and he approves you, your file will not have to go to rounds after the Trio approves you. You will just need to call your surgeon and let them know you are approved and they will give you a date to come in for pre-op soon after that.
You could always call your surgeon's office and ask what dates he is booking for, the admin should be able to help you and that can give you an idea as well.
