Hi There, I use the RTD Premier Protein. Don't stock up on too much because your tastes can change after surgery.

Click on the little gear at the top right beside the pink plus sign. Select Tickers from the drop down list and you can add your own numbers.

Hi L,

Nice to see you here. For me, I drink Premier Protein, you can get them at Costco, Walmart and Shopper's Drug Mart. From what I see, most folk drink this after surgery. Also, apparently, taste buds sometimes change so I have taken a few trips across the border to try other flavours that are not available here such as peaches, banana and strawberry.

If you click on Settings then the Message Board tab you can add a signature with various info. That's usually where people track their monthly progress. M1, M2 etc.

Hi Svetlana,

Congratulations on making the decision to have surgery. I agree with Ginnny. Don't stock up because your tastebuds will definitely change. I could not drink premier protein when I first had surgery...and it's only been the last few months that I've given it a try and now I can drink it. I use a powdered protein called, "New Zealand Whey". I got it at a health food store. I found it worked for me because it was not overly sweet and not chalky. I mix it with water/berries/spinach/flax oil to make a green smoothie. It works for me.

I used Premier Protein before and after surgery but had to stop with it for a while after surgery as it was really causing me some gastric distress. Once things settled down, I did go back to it and usually have 3 or 4 a week even now and I'm 8 months out from surgery.

I use Kaizen protein powder from Costco. It has 35 grams of protein in a scoop - no sugar and 3 carbs per serving. Also, it's currently on sale :)

I like this one because it provides a good amount of protein and it mixes well into my smoothies.
