If it helps at all...I schedule my workout sessions like a would an appointment. I put it on my calendar in my office so that everyone can see it...date and time...it helps me to be accountable and make sure that I treat it as something just as important as all of my other appointments on my calendar. This has really helped me so far...

An amazing transformation to say the least! In my opinion you look super happy, healthy and have the perfect outlook, so why stress about being 10 lbs lighter? Doesn't muscle weigh more than fat anyway?

I've only set a weight goal as a target, but if I end up feeling like you are right now,,, I will be ecstatic!! (no matter if my scale shows I'm off my target by a few pounds either way)

When I started eating properly, I started losing consistently and have added resistant band training pre-surgery so that I can get into an increasing exercise/weight training regimen post-surgery. You are completely right that a big part of this journey will be how we choose to live,, active vs sedentary.

Thank you, and it is a pleasure to share. As I have said so many times before, I would not have made it through the long waiting period if it weren't for those who shared their successes with all of us on this forum. It feels good to give back and to be successful so that I can inspire others.

Barb you look awesome!

When I first joined here at OH I started following you. I recall meeting you at one of the Burlington support groups and your knowledge and honesty really struck me. You have been such an inspiration to so many of us that I must say Thank you!

A few weeks ago I posted about my 7 1/2 month journey and you replied in the affirmative - that so much of my journey resembled yours.

So today I find myself reading your one year update and thinking ME TOO! ME TOO! Our experience, our journey and our outlook is very similar right down to our weight, where we want to get to, our choices and our decision to get strong.

I sincerely believe that exercise and building strength is key in building overall inner confidence. When we do that we have not only the physical strength to maintain and stay the course, but our mental confidence follows along.

The easy part has been losing our weight. The really hard stuff is staring us in the face and the fear of becoming overweight again is always there. I feel it too now that I am closing in on my goal.

You have done such a great job and showed many of us "the way". The journey is not yet over. YOU'VE GOT THIS!
