Getting Ready ... 3 Days To Go
I called the hospital today. Surgery will be at 12:45 on Monday. I was hoping for first thing in the morning so I wouldn't have hours ahead of time to ... stress isn't really the right word, but I'm not sure what is.
I have kept my mind off things pretty easily, but I know once we settle into the hotel Sunday night, up until they knock me out, I will be anxious.
Good luck! Right up until I went under I kept telling myself everyone said it's the best decision they ever made. Just keep your eye on the prize. It is so worth it.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.
So excited for you. Make sure you post again afterwards to tell us how everything went.
