Cleared :)
Just an update that yesterday I was cleared for surgery and my file was being sent to TO.
Pre-op class is Aug 20th but that's all I know for now.
PS: Weigh-in was fun, down another 14 lbs!
Question - Can any of the "larger" starters recommend a good scale since right now I just weigh in when I have my appointments at the hospital?
Congratulations! It won't be long now!
I'm a heavyweight, and I use a Weigh****chers electronic scale I got at Walmart. I think it cost in the neighborhood of $40 last year. Wait, it's this one:

It's basic, doesn't read BMI or body fat and you can't connect it to your phone apps or fitbit or anything like that.
I think it reads pretty accurately, because when I was weighted at my 1 week post-op appointment, it was only 2 lbs more than what I weighted that morning at home (I figured the 2lbs would be clothing, shoes, and the water and protein shake I'd consumed).
It can also take a beating, as my 7 year nephew loves dragging it around and weighing himself on it.

Yay! Congrats!
Sorry I can't offer any suggestions on a scale. My parents gifted me one 15 years ago and it's still going strong, but I have no idea what make or model it is.
It is a talking scale that goes up to 440 lbs.
Congratulations!!! You're on your way. :)
