Size 31 jeans!!!

I went shopping today... I wasn't sure where to shop. I am officially out of plus size clothes!!!

I bought a pair of jeans in size 31!!! That size barely makes sense to me!! They are tight, and make my muffin top bulge a little more than I like. But they should fit me perfectly in no time! I remember when I was trying to get into my size 14 jeans a few months ago, and how tight they were. Someone at work called them mom jeans the other day... cause they are so saggy. Needless to say, I knew it was time for new jeans!!

I got a couple of other really cute things too! A dress in an XL It's so form fitting! I tried the XXL cause I thought it would be too tight, but the XL is so much better. Who knew!

Shopping is confusing now, but really fun. :) I'm still reeling at size 31 jeans!!!

I find shopping confusing now too. I think it's because we can now shop anywhere. We don't just have 2 or 3 stores that can accommodate us.

I popped into a really nice boutique this afternoon and it blew my mind that I could find things there that would fit me.

I love shopping now...my entire wardrobe has completely changed.

I think I am done now. I have new jeans, new dresses, new skirts, new pants, new blouses, new t-shirts, new nighties, new robes, new bras, new underwear, new shoes

I have gotten rid of EVERYTHING (except one pair of pants that use to be my mom's and a full body slip that I have taken pics of in throughout my journey - I have one more pic to take I think - holy smokes, the transformation has been incredible when I take a look at the pictures - not ready to share yet though)

The only thing I need now are new boots and a new winter coat (and secretly I would like to purchase a biker jacket!).

Like I said in a previous post, it is so nice to go into a store and EVERYTHING fits. The choice is unbelievable.

Wow! You have really shopped :) I need new nighties - mine are so big now I get tangled up. Going to have to figure that one out soon! LOL. (Darn, another excuse to shop LOL)

I hate the tangled up feeling of big clothes now too.

So, I did buy a few size small articles of clothing when I decided to have surgery, as an incentive. These pieces of clothing were fun to try on as I began to lose weight. I also made sure that I had a clothing budget that I added to monthly before I even had surgery to prepare for a new wardrobe. ...it's mostly dried up now!! lol!!

That's awesome. So smart of you re the budget!! I bought (and was given) some smaller clothes pre surgery too. I stopped buying things though as I realized things didn't always fit like I thought they would, or I blew right through sizes.

Instill have some smaller items people have given me. Can't wait to get into those!

Size 31! That's great. My bottom half is bigger than my top so it will take me bit to get there. I find I don't really know where to shop. I keep asking my friends " where do you buy a bathing suit or skinny jeans for a reasonable price". It is all so new. I love it. It's time for me to go back through my closet again.
