Calorie intake info
Anyone have a chart or rough idea how many calories one should be ingesting post op? I am 7.5 months post op sleeve gastrectomy.. I am waiting an email back from my dietician.. but was just curious. I know it goes by 'weight' but even a rough estimate would be great.
Thanks
Ana
Hi, I'm 3 months out and i eat 450-550 per day, 60-70g protein. I am short 5'2" and 49 years old. I've only had 1 stall and I am not hungry. I know they want you to eat more but you have to listen to your body. I keep my carbs under 20 most days. If I am going over it is due to fruit or veggies on a hot day sometimes I just need watermelon. You have to find what works for you. Some people at my time are at 1000 calories, others 600-800. I am slowly increasing and will get there when my body is ready. :)
