4 Months Out
So I'm 4 months out now, just went for my 3 month follow up, my clinic is very happy with my weight loss, its definitely slowed down, but I'm getting a lot healthier, Vitamin A was too high so had to switch up one of my multis to a no A version, my ferritin was down to 7, apparently that's the stored iron so although my hemoglobin is still okay, it was time to add iron supplements (my stomach doesn't like), saw my Endocrinologist today and my A1C is down to 5.8 and am experiencing some lows so she said to elimiinate my mealtime insulin, yeah! still taking the long acting at night but this is a big step forward, my Cholesterol is really low so they said it was okay if I stopped taking my Statin which is good as I've always had issues with leg cramps and was taking the lowest possible dose.
I figure every drug off the list is a victory as I'd run out of drug coverage every year as they is a cap on our plan.
