Dietitian Meeting

I had my dietitian appointment yesterday at St. Joe's Hamilton, and I have to say it was an amazing experience. I was so nervous that I would not be prepared enough, but it was the complete opposite. We discussed my vegan diet, and she was able to convince me that I would not need to give it up. She was able also able to provide me some great ideas for after surgery, and answered any questions I had.

Looking forward to my social worker appointment and then getting a date to meet the surgeon.

Hopefully I get get a cancellation appointment, so I am not waiting until Aug. 2nd for the SW.....fingers crossed.

Oh and on a side note please remember to be nice to the ladies working at the front desk. I saw some uncalled for behavior from a lady yesterday, yelling at the receptionist saying her appointment was for 20 mins earlier and that the receptionists computer was incorrect.

Did you prepare any food logs before you went? I'm likely going to receive my dietician appt at the nutrition class, but I'm also keen on being prepared.

I don't know what's wrong with people who are so rude to support staff - what are you going to get out of it?? People need to calm down!

I created a spread sheet with options for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks for each of the diets. Plus I brought 10 days of current food logs with me.

I may have over prepared a bit....lol!
