I love my coffee and I love strong with cream, any suggestions on what I can use instead, I'm using too many calories I shouldn't have in my daily coffee. I know some use Premier Protein but it's too sweet so that doesn't work for me. Has anyone tried the Lactantia Fat Free Creamer?

I've tried it and didn't mind it. You could also use 5% cream.

Hi Michelle,

I love strong coffee with a ton of cream in it as well! I can't stand a "sweet" coffee either.

In the beginning I really struggled with this and tried all kinds of alternatives but nothing worked. I gave in and started using cream again but I tracked it. I measured and tracked for about the first 4 months. Now (9 months out and almost to goal) I don't measure, I just drink it and enjoy it. My weight loss has slowed down considerably but I really don't think it is because I am adding cream to my coffee! I have lost 87 pounds and for almost all of it I have had a coffee with cream in it every morning. Hope this helps!

I'd rather go without than have it another way, I've been tracking the cream in my daily totals, my weight loss seems to be slowing down to the 1-2 lbs a week loss, but I've lost 73 pounds since February so can't complain. I'm at the point now where I really need to try to get more exercise to help with the weight loss.

I'm using a creamer called Better Half. It's half & half made with almond milk and coconut cream. It's 15 calories for 2 TBSP and zero carbs (if you buy the unsweetened version). I've been known to mix that with the a TINY splash of heavy cream (like, a few drops) and then use my frother to make it a bit more creamy.

I've been using a creamer called "nutpods" which I like, but I often just use milk or real cream too.
