Terrible Night (Terrible since Surgery)
I know this will pass but have had a terrible experience since surgery. I'm one of the lucky ones. Barely slept last night from pain and extreme sweats. Pillow and bed sheets wet. Hair soaked. So weak. Still dizzy. Huge pain in left shoulder still. Trying to get off oxy now as I think that's causing the sweating. At least my liquids are going down. Sorry for the post. Just needed some encouragement as I'm sitting here in tears .

I'm sorry to hear your having a rough time. I can empathize with the shoulder and gas pain, that will pass, I promise:) The other symptoms I did not experience and I'm concerned about the sweating as that seems to be an indicator of a fever? I'm not a doctor but maybe you should call your hospital and ask if that's normal? I hope your feeling better soon.

Hi thank you for your response! No fever. A bit high blood pressure and pulse higher. Same as in hospital. Off oxy since yesterday morning and sweats and side effects have lessened. Pain has substantially increased including gas pain. Going to call surgeons office in am when they open.

Have you checked in at all with your clinic? I think it would be wise to give them a call tomorrow and let them know what's going on. Don't try to do this on your own.

Thanks dear I'm calling as soon as they open. Off oxy and sweats are disappearing but now I woke with severe abdominal pain at 4:15am. Could barely walk to bathroom. I took a T2 I had and bavk to pain. Otherwise I was take 2 T1 yesterday and or seemed to help. Very weak and still dizzy but getting a bit better I think. I think sweats and dizzy was from oxy. I hope to get some answers today

So sorry that you are having these problems. But...I can tell you it will get better and as for the gas pain, I have used PAPAYA ENZYMES. They are and have been life saving for me. I have lots of gas all the time. I have used them since my RNY. I am 5 years out this July 2. Please check with your suregon. They are 100% natural. I really don't see where they would hurt you but just in case, check with your DR. Good Luck
