I just ate my balls... and I liked them!
For all of yous that struggle to get your protein in on a daily basis. I've been doing a little research with help from Google.
I found a recipe for Chocolate chip cookie dough protein balls (5.4g of protein per ball) 5 ingredients total. So here it is. Super easy and! it's a no bake recipe (score)
2 scoops vanilla protein power
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup nut butter (smooth peanut or almond or macadamia etc)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup dairy free mini chocolate chips ( I used regular sized chips but took my frustration out on them with a mallet- rough day at work hehe) Mini chips would work better tho
Combine all ingredients and mix until you get a cookie like batter. If you find it too dry, add a little more nut butter. Too wet? add a little more almond flour
Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, scoop the dough into the palm of your hand and roll into balls.
Place on a parchment paper lined sheet tray and let set in the fridge.
Store in air tight container for up to a week.
Yummos!
