5 days post op!!

Hello everyone

I am writing this updste feom the comfort of my lazy boy!!

I had my roux en y on Tuesday in Kingston Ontario.

Recovery was rough for me, i had a really hard time coming out of the anestheic but the recovery room staff were amazing and I made it through!

I have not needed pain meds for two days now, i am sore and uncomfortable but doing well for the most part.

I lost 15 lbs on optifast and will be weighing in on Tuesdays!

Congratulations! Welcome to the Loser's Bench.

The first few weeks are somewhat tough for many of us. The good news is that it does get better and before you know it you're going to be feeling lighter and have so much energy you won't know what to do with yourself.

For now, rest, sip and walk.

It's all good.

I found every day I felt a little bit better, hopefully you will too. The one thing that made a huge difference in how I was feeling was focusing on getting as much water as I could in. The food will come bu****er conquered all for me. Happy healing!

The first week or so are rough but it gets a bit better every day.
