Why I haven't been around!
Thank you so much. And you are right why definitely made the right decision at out my health and safety first. I have two very little ones at home and wouldn't have wanted to risk anything. The disappointment was just that disappointment. And I am very lucky that they were willing to reschedule me so that I do have the opportunity to have my RNY completed.

"We have the rest of our lives to live our lives thanks to this tool. Life is no longer a race, its an experience, slow down and enjoy it"
The point is, it is worth the wait and it is far better to be in top condotion for the surgey and you have done that.
For the folks that know me here...lookie at me tracker. Down to 268. woooohoo. (see what I mean LeiLei. :-)
Thank you for your words. They do resonate deeply. You are right it is no longer a race. At least it won't be. And congrats on your amazing success.

How disappointing, but I am so glad you understand your health and safety comes first. Sounds like your surgeon is doing what is best for you! Thanks for the update and your new surgery date will be here before you know it. Take this extra time to deal with head issues. I tell people you have to get it right between the ears before re-arranging your plumbing.
Good Luck to you and we look forward to your updates!

Glad the doctors take the precautions they do and glad you have the attitude to get back on the right track and still want to do the surgery. Good luck on surgery day.

Thank God you have a surgeon who cares enough about your health and your life to make a difficult decision like that. Good surgeons can be hard to find and I'm impressed enough with yours to keep track of his name so I'll have it for others in and around Ontario who are in the process of choosing their doc.
It's disappointing for sure and I can definitely understand the moping. But the time will fly and your recovery from your RnY when you do have it will be a lot smoother than if he had somehow pieced everything together all at once.
Good luck to you and good for you for having found a caring WLS surgeon.
