Plastic surgery - mexico or brazil, who has done it?

I'm sooooo bummed. I was declined for a panniculectomy, i saw Dr. Nandagopal last fall, he said i would likely get approved, and i got my hopes up. Then i got the word that i was not approved by ohip. There's no way i can afford the surgery at Ontario costs. I'm looking to hear from people who have actually gone to mexico or brazil to have it done, lately, and what the costs were, and how their experiences were.

I've heard Cuba is excellent with very low cost. There's a medical tourism company on Montreal that can organize it and they have a good reputation.

i just saw someone post about it in this forum, coincidentally. I was really hoping just to have the panniculectomy tho
